Does FastChip Support OrCAD VHDL Simulation?

The OrCAD Simulate program supports VHDL simulation and was available through OrCAD’s 9.1 release. Beginning early in 2000, Cadence Design Systems officially announced end of life status for the OrCAD VHDL simulator, and recommends that its users to switch to the Affirma simulation tools.

For this reason, Triscend no longer officially supports the OrCAD VHDL simulator, but will make reasonable efforts to assist its customer base. In general, the libraries shipped with FastChip should work with many VHDL simulation environments, but are qualified with a subset of those available.
